How far along? 20 1/2 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 6 :)

Maternity clothes? Maternity Jeans...but so far tops are still working out and thank god I didn't have to spend a bunch of money on maternity dresses for the wedding

Sleep: I LOVE sleep...Although I've had some CRAZYYYY dreams

Best moment this week: Pat feeling Jack kick and seeing his face when he finally knew it was him...also watching Pat see the ultrasound and hear the Dr. say that he's doing PERFECT whew what a relief!!

Movement: Jack's very active when I eat, drive, or lay down...he is a lil character once he starts kicking

Food cravings: I still want fruit, but nothing else... I think I had weirder cravings before I was pregnant

Gender: BOY! Couldn't be more excited to meet my lil Pat mini-me

Labor Signs: None
Belly Button in or out? In

What I miss: So far I haven't really skipped out on much thankfully during this pregnancy!

What I am looking forward to: Holding my little munchkin and watching Pat hold his first son

Weekly Wisdom: It's really sad to say but not a lot of people have that "nice" of wisdom...most of our close friends with children and our parents have been such a great influence on us. It's amazing when your pregnant how much negative attitudes you encounter too, I'm not sure if it's just jealousy or their own issues coming into play but I just ignore it and move on. Also at the weddings this weekend a high school friend really gave me such an insight and genuine outlook on parenting and got me so excited!!

Milestones: Making it over halfway there with no problems so far!!

20 1/2 weeks :)

Well we had our HALFWAY there appointment this week with an ultrasound! The appointment was quick and fast and perfect. I'm measuring exactly with my due date (pretty rare) and Jack looked great on the ultrasound scan. I now feel Jack kicking daily and we're starting to know his kick cycle :) usually he gets moving when I eat, drive, or when I lay down. I'm still feeling great and couldn't be more thankful for such a smooth ride so far!!

This has been a very very busy weekend, we had two weddings. Friday was our friends Jeff and Tracey's and Saturday was Chuck and Sarah's. Both weddings were so beautiful. It's amazing how after being married and pregnant how quickly the I start to cry. I'm getting very nervous that I will be making a total fool out of myself at my cousin Kims wedding. I'm actually in shock how late me and Jack made it out! Here are some pics from the scan and us at Chuck and Sarah's wedding :)

19 weeks heading into 20!!

Week 18/19 have been a blast but really busy! We had showers, games, and The Rooney Grandparents were in Indy. It was so great to visit with them and have dinner with them. We went out to eat at Uno one night bc that was their first date in chicago :) They are so sweet and thoughtful and got us so many cute Notre Dame baby outfits!!! Also that weekend was my 10 year reunion....I can't believe time has flown that quickly!! I think in the end Pat had more fun than me, I was getting a cold and really wasn't enjoying being THE ONLY sober person in the room haha. Also we have made our first trip to Appleworks!! I love fall and halloween so I'm super-excited about the leaves already turning! We took james and met up with Shawn, Hailey, and the Durretts and had a blast! Here are some pics :)

Busy Weekends!

So far we have had some crazy busy weekends. I'm so glad that even though I'm prego I still can get out and enjoy everything. Alot of my friends were really sick in pregnancy so it gives me a good perspective on how things could really be. Here's some pics of the past couple weekends!!

The pic above was at my cousin Kim's bachelorette party in Louisville...Jack's first girl's night out! haha



Next on the agenda was us gals planning Kim's shower! Here are some pics...we had pumpkin carving and everyone got to take their pumpkin home and the winner of the carving contest got a great gift basket! It was a blast! It's great bc alot of my friends are very close with our family so they are usually at all of these events which makes it ten times more fun!

Even Lucy one of the flower girls came sporting her new colts tutu!!

Lila and pat started to feel Jack kicking last night!! Lila likes to lay back and relax while she listens haha~~she's a character!!

dad perspective

Being husband of the year as usual;) I came in with Denise when she got called in today. So while I was here, got to see her do another ultrasound on baby Jack. He has gotten so big and was moving around like crazy!! He's definitely way more flexible than his dad, looked like he was trying to eat his toes for part of it!

18 weeks

He's in a little ball with his feet by his head :)
